Marsh Dredging and Excavation

Is your job site hard to reach?

Does your excavation include environmental considerations in a delicate ecosystem?

Certain waterways are too shallow or inaccessible for conventional marine equipment, making dredging a challenging task. These environments are often home to a variety of plants and wildlife, and any disruption could lead to significant damage.

Stan’s employs equipment that is compatible with large hydraulic suction dredges, capable of pumping silt from the waterway floor. The silt and water pumped up from the waterway cannot be discharged back into the marsh and swamp. This will harm the local flora and fauna.

With that in mind, our equipment constructs levee systems in low-lying areas to contain the disposal from the large suction dredges. We can also assemble the pipe systems required to transport waste materials away from the excavation site for safe removal and disposal.

Our marsh dredging services are designed with the utmost consideration for environmental concerns, costs, and other related issues. We strive to provide a solution that is efficient, effective, and environmentally friendly.

Our team specializes in working within sensitive environments, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while minimizing impact on surrounding habitats. Whether the project involves clearing out silt build-up, restoring wetland channels, or preparing for infrastructure projects, our operators bring expertise to every aspect of marsh dredging and excavation. Equipped to handle variable terrain and water depth, we focus on preserving the natural landscape, aiming to leave marshes and waterways more sustainable and resilient for the future.
